Jul/07Fedora Core To Ubuntu
The transition from Fedora to Ubuntu server has been almost complete. I have already seen speed improvements and other advantages. I am currently having problems setting up virtual hosts and I still hjave to move the server back.

I moved my old keyboard and mouse (Logitech MX3100) to my linux box and was surprised to find the volume dial works! All the other buttons don’t seen to work as they are intended to.

Tried out XGL for the first time and it is AWESOME!!! You can see some videos of it in action on Miguel’s blog. It runs smoothly on my linux box which has a nVidia 6600.
