Eve-Online Growing Pains

To me the time when I played before the exapnsion seemed great… Till I got bored of it. Now that I’m back I’m not sure if it was a good decision.

There has been an expansion during the time I left as well as plenty of time to mature the game. There has been many improvements such as new tech and a much better tutorial system.

Whilst playing today the servers went down at 11:00 GMT as usual. Got back on and in less than one hour there as an un-scheduled shutdown at 12:45. It even booted me off few minutes early! Got back on around 12:30 and it was going fine till the afternoon when I was having problems connecting. Wasn’t 100% sure if the servers went down because there was times I just manage to get on the I would get connection problems. Then another un-scheduled shutdown some time between 21:00 and 22:00. Apparently a server had crashed and the cause was unknown!

Now I think it seems stupid having so many problems. Going back through the news there has been applogies from the CCP team about the game problems but I think we should be reward with something. This game isn’t cheap!
