CrystalDiskInfo
S.M.A.R.T technology has been in hard drives for years now and is used to report and monitor disk health. Life Hacker wrote an article on CrystalDiskInfo. I downloaded and tried it out and it was really good. All the information is easy to see with big health and temperature status whilst the the raw data is displayed in a table format.
The software comes as a zip and no install is required.
