fstab UUIDs

After having a discussion with Toby about UUID entries in the fstab and also seeing a warning for my Serializable classes in java because it didn’t have SerializableUIDs, I decided to actually find out what these mean. I found a good explansion in a blog post that describes the fstab and the java UIDs.

the fstab UUID seems to introduce an abstract layer so it doesn’t depend on the port number the HDD is plugged into.
