Dual NIC

Never tried using two network cards before but it’s amazing to see what Ubuntu did when I re-install Linux on my computer. Here’s what gDesklet is telling me:

Dual NIC Status

The wireless is receiving data whilst the wired connection is sending. Have to give it a try on my Windows machine when I go home next and see what the results are.

    Discovering the true beauty of dual NIC’s. Tried disconnecting one expecting it to take a second or two to reconfigure itself and in the mean time disconnecting everything, but to my amazement everything stayed online.
