WordPress and Postfix

I got an email from the Linux Counter project and it reminded me to put the script back onto the now old Ubuntu server. I went through the steps of downloading the script but it said I had to have a mail server installed. Since I had not set this up I went about using apt-get to sort everything out. A couple of minutes later the script ran cron’d.

After installing the Postfix mail server, I started to recieve email notifications from my WordPress blog site on any comments awaiting approval. Obviously all of them were spam but so far but it was a pretty cool feature. It didn’t even require me configure anything in WordPress to get it working.
