Install Oracle (Sun) JRE On Ubuntu 12.04
Below should work for Ubuntu 12.04 for 32 and 64 bit.
Add Oracle’s repository to repository list:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:webupd8team/java
Update sources:
sudo apt-get update
Install JRE 7:
sudo apt-get install oracle-java7-installer
Java JRE will not install in Ubuntu 12.04
